Ingredients
- 4 cups water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 ¼ cup cornmeal
- ½ cup pitted dates, chopped
Instructions
- In a saucepan over medium-high heat, add water, salt, cornmeal in a saucepan, and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and stir almost constantly (to avoid clumps) for about 10 minutes or until the mixture is thickened to the consistency you like.
- Remove from heat and serve hot with dates, strawberries, blueberries, plant-based milk, or maple syrup
Notes
Instead of water, use coconut water for more flavor
