Lemon Brownies

Lemon Glaze


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F  Grease an 8-inch square baking dish and add parchment paper for easy removal.
  2. Beat together the butter, sugar, all-purpose flour, salt in a large bowl until well combined. 
  3. Mix together the eggs, 3 tablespoons lemon juice, and 2 tablespoons of lemon zest together in a separate bowl.
  4. Add the wet ingredients into the flour mixture and beat on medium speed until smooth, about 2 minutes. Pour batter into the prepared baking dish.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, 23 to 25 minutes. 

Lemon Glaze

  1. Mix together the powdered sugar, lemon juice, and lemon zest until it forms a thick glaze consistency.
  2. Add to cooled brownies and allow to sit for 10 minutes so the glaze will harden.
