A delicious and easy to make cake perfect for parties and gatherings – Pretzel cake for beginners!

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F and line a 8×8 inch baking with parchment paper and coat with oil or cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, add the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vanilla extract, eggs and mix until light and fluffy. Next add the flour, salt and mix until combined.
  3. Add the 1/2 cup crushed pretzels, 1/2 cup chocolate chips and mix until combined.
  4. Pour the batter into the baking pan and bake for 35-45 minutes. Insert toothpick in the center to test if it’s baked all the way through.
  5. To make the topping, mix the vegetable oil and chocolate chips and microwave for about 20-30 seconds. Using a spoon mix until melted.
  6. Drizzle over the cake and then garnish with the crushed pretzels.

Notes

**it’s 2 cups of all purpose flour for the recipe. I voiced the wrong measurements. 🙂
