Ginger Turmeric Salabat Tea

Try making this fresh, soothing, and easy Salabat recipe at home – a homemade tea that gives you a lot of health benefits and a comforting warm beverage during the rainy season!




  1. In a pot over high heat, bring to a boil 5 cups of water.
  2. In a mortar and pestle, smash ginger and turmeric, then add it to the boiling water and cook for 5-7 minutes.
  3. Next, strain and transfer to a teapot or your preferred container. Also, feel free to not strain and directly transfer to your choice of container.
  4. Best served hot.
