Homemade Ginger-Turmeric Tea

In a mortar and pestle, smash ginger and turmeric.

In a pot over high heat, bring to a boil 5 cups of water.

This is  how the salabat will look like after boiling it.

Next, strain and transfer to a teapot or your preferred container. Also, feel free to not strain and directly transfer to your choice of container. 

Salabat is best served hot.
