Tofu Wraps

Ingredients

  • 8 wraps
  • 1 block tofu
  • cup soy sauce
  • cup water
  • juice of half a lemon
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 medium green bell pepper sliced
  • 1 medium yellow bell pepper sliced
  • 1 cup red cabbage sliced
  • 1 medium tomato sliced thinly
  • 8 lettuce leaves

Instructions

  • Prepare tofu by press the water out of the tofu for about 10 minutes.
  • Meanwhile prepare the marinade sauce by mixing soy sauce, water, and lemon juice in a bowl. After 10 minutes, cut tofu into half then into 16 equal sticks, and marinate for about 1 hour or best overnight.
  • When ready, heat a nonstick pan with oil and fry tofu sticks until golden brown. To assemble wraps: Starting with lettuce on the wrap, followed by tomatoes, bell peppers, cabbage, crispy tofu, and drizzle with your favorite hot sauce.
