⅓cupvegetable broth
¼cupbrown sugar
¼cupdark soy sauce
2tablespoonsvegetarian oyster mushroom sauce
1teaspoonwhole wheat flour
1teaspoonsesame seeds
¼teaspoonchili powder
Gluten Mix
3cupssliced glutenif gluten is frozen, thaw it
2tablespoonscornstarch
1tablespoongarlic powder
1tablespoonhoisin sauce
1teaspoononion powder
1teaspoonsmoked paprika

Cooking the Dish
2tablespoonsvegetable oil
½cupsweet onionssliced
1red bell pepperdeseeded and quarted
1green bell pepperdeseeded and quartered

In a small bowl, whisk together vegetable broth, brown sugar, soy sauce, oyster mushroom sauce, whole wheat flour, sesame seeds, and chili powder; set aside.
Gluten Mix
In a large mixing bowl, combine gluten, cornstarch, garlic powder, hoisin sauce, onion powder, smoked paprika, and ground black pepper. Toss together and allow it to marinate for at least 5 minutes.
Cooking the Dish
Pour the oil into a heated skillet over medium heat. Place and cook the marinated seitan until golden brown, about 1 minute on the flat sides.
Add in the onions and bell peppers and continue cooking for another 3 minutes while stirring constantly.
Pour the sauce mixture and let it simmer for 2 minutes, stirring once in a while.
