Ingredients
2tablespoonsvegan oyster sauce
1teaspoonbrown sugar
1tablespoonsoy sauce
½teaspoonsmoked paprika
3tablespoonsolive oil
5clovesgarlicsliced
12ozfirm tofudiced
⅛cupvegan butter
salt & pepper to taste
1tablespoonlemon juice
Instructions
In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and smoked paprika; set aside.
In a pan over medium-low heat, add oil, garlic, and saute garlic until light golden brown, about 2 minutes.
Remove the sautéed garlic and transfer it to a plate.
In the same pan, add the tofu and cook until golden and crispy on both sides.
Add the butter and continue cooking for another minute.
Then add the sauce and simmer for 2-3 minutes on medium-low heat.
Add in the sautéed garlic, then season with salt and pepper, and drizzle with lemon juice to taste.
