French Silk Pie

A rich, creamy, and delicious chocolate pie with Oreo-like crust, chocolate filling, whipped cream topping that is perfect for holiday or party dessert!

Ingredients

Crust:

  • 1 ½ cup almond flour
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • cup erythritol
  • ¼ cup butter
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Chocolate Filling:

  • 16 oz cream cheese room temperature
  • ¾ cup whipping cream
  • 4 tablespoons sour cream
  • 3 oz dark chocolate melted
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup erythritol

Whipped Cream Topping:

  • ¾ cups heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons Swerve Powdered Sweetener
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • chocolate shavings for garnish optional

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a 9-inch pie dish with cooking spray or butter.
  • In a large mixing bowl, add the almond flour, sweetener, cocoa powder, baking powder, salt, and cold butter.  Mix well to combine and be sure the butter is well incorporated.
  • Add the egg to the mixture and blend until the dough looks crumbly.
  • Spread and flatten out the dough into the prepared pie dish and bake for 15 minutes. Allow the pie crust to completely cool.

Chocolate Filling:

  • In a large mixing bowl add cream cheese, whipped cream, sour cream, melted chocolate, cocoa powder, sweetener,  vanilla extract and blend for about 3-4 minutes or until the chocolate filling is light and fluffy.
  • Spread the chocolate filling into the baked pie crust and refrigerate for 4-6 hours.

Whipped Cream Topping:

  • In a large bowl, with an electric mixer blend the whipping cream, vanilla extract, powdered sweetener and beat on high until peaks form.
  • Top the pie with whipped cream topping and chocolate shavings.
