Caramel Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 cups packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup half & half
  • ½ cup butter
  • teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla extract

Instructions

  • In a saucepan add half & half, sugar, butter, salt and mix. Allow it to cook for 7-9 minutes or until the sauce thickens
  • Turn off stove and add vanilla to the saucepan.

Notes

to thicken the sauce add 1-2 tablespoons cornstarch
