A delicious, healthy, vegan take on the Filipino pasta recipe loaded with vegetarian hotdogs and vegetarian ground protein!

Ingredients
For Pasta:
3cupsof water
1tablespoonof coconut oil
250gramsof pasta
For the Sauce:
1tablespooncoconut oil
1small size onionminced
6-7clovesof garlicminced
80gramsvegetarian ground protein
150gramsvegetarian hot dogsliced into 3s
250spaghetti Filipino sauce
1tablespoontomato paste
½cupcoconut cream*
2tablespoonsbrown sugar**
1tablespoonsalt
½teaspoonpepper
Instructions
In a pot over medium heat, add 3 cups of water and bring to a boil. Add 1 tablespoon of oil, salt and cook the spaghetti according to package's direction or for about 7 to 9 minutes or until firm to bite. Drain well and set aside.
In a large saucepan, heat the oil. Sauté the onion and garlic until the onions are translucent and the garlic is cooked.
Then add ground vegetarian protein, sliced hot dogs and stirring occasionally cook for about 3 minutes or until lightly browned.
Next, add the Filipino spaghetti sauce, tomato sauce, coconut cream, and mix. Allow the sauce to simmer for about 2 to 4 minutes, then add sugar, salt, and pepper.
To serve, spoon the spaghetti sauce over the spaghetti noodles and top with vegan cheese.
