Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 ¼ cup cornmeal
  • ½ cup pitted dates chopped

Instructions

  • In a saucepan over medium-high heat, add water, salt, and cornmeal, then bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat and stir almost constantly (to avoid clumps) for about 10 minutes or until the mixture is thickened to the consistency you like.

  • Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Instead of water, use coconut water for more flavor.
