Ingredients

  • 3 small radishes peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1–2 tablespoons calamansi juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt plus extra for soaking
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 small tomatoes sliced or diced
  • 1 small onion sliced
  • 1 small piece ginger minced
  • green onions chopped
  • water for soaking

Instructions

Prepare the Radish

  • Peel and thinly slice the radishes.
  • In a bowl, add water with a pinch of salt.
  • Soak the sliced radish for 1–2 minutes.

Drain the Radish

  • Drain the radish well.
  • Gently squeeze to remove excess water.
  • Transfer the radish to a clean bowl.

Mix the Salad

  • Add tomatoes, onion, and ginger.
  • Drizzle with calamansi juice.
  • Add sugar and salt.

Serve

  • Mix everything together until well combined.
  • Top with chopped green onions.
  • Taste and adjust calamansi, sugar, or salt as needed.
