Ingredients
⅔cupunsalted butterroom temperature
1 ½cupsgranulated white sugar
2large eggs
½teaspoonvanilla extract
2cupsall-purpose flour
1teaspoonbaking soda
3tablespoonsmatcha powdersifted
¼teaspoonsalt
½cupsemi-sweet milk chocolate drops or droplets
Instructions
Make the Dough
Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy using a stand mixer with a paddle attachment.
Add eggs and vanilla extract; mix until fully incorporated.
Carefully add flour, baking soda, and sifted matcha powder; mix until just combined.
Fold in milk chocolates.
Cover with cling film and chill in the fridge for 1 hour.
Bake the Cookies
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Scoop 12 portions of dough using an ice cream scooper onto the sheet.
Bake for 12 minutes. Let cool completely before serving.
Notes
Depending on the size of the ice cream scooper, the yield may vary from 12 to 20 pieces.
You can also use smaller scoops to make bite-sized cookies.
You may use white chocolate chips instead of milk chocolates.
