Taro Smoothie Recipe

An easy, healthy, and delicious taro smoothie recipe with a sweet blend of taro, maple syrup, soy milk, vanilla extract, and pearls! This is a great summer drink recipe for breakfast or snacks!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pearls cooked according to packaging
  • 1 cup ice
  • 1 small taro peeled and cut into bite sized chunks
  • 1 ½ cups soy milk
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup*
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • In a highspeed blender, add ice, taro, maple syrup, soy milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract and blend until creamy and smooth.
  • In a large glass, add 2-3 tablespoon pearls, next pour the taro smoothie until halfway, then add another 2-3 tbsp of pearls and finish pouring until the glass is full.
  • Best served immediately.
