Vanilla Bean Buttercream Frosting

This will be the Best Vanilla Bean Buttercream Frosting you will ever make and you would never use store-bought again.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 3-4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1-2 tablespoon milk optional

Instructions

  • Use your favorite cupcake recipe and bake as usual. Put in cupcake liners and bake, as instructed.
  • After baking it, let it cool while you start making your favorite buttercream frosting.
  • To make the Vanilla Bean Buttercream frosting, sift powdered sugar and set aside.
  • Then, in a stand mixer, add the butter and beat until light and fluffy.
  • Next, add powdered sugar, 1 cup at a time.
  • Add vanilla extract and salt. If the frosting is stiff, add milk.
  • After you have achieved your desired color for your buttercream frosting, place it in a piping bag. Then, go ahead and pipe your cooled cupcakes as desired.
