3D Gingerbread Cookies

A beautiful and creative way to make 3D Gingerbread Cookies with an easy to follow cookie recipe!

Ingredients

  • 3 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup butter softened
  • ¾ cup packed brown sugar
  • ½ cup molasses
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, mix flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and set aside.
  • In another bowl beat butter and brown sugar with electric mixer until light and fluffy. Add egg, vanilla and molasses until well mixed. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate 4-6 hours or best overnight.
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Cut dough in half and roll out dough to about ¼-inch thick on a parchment paper.
  • Bake 8-10 minutes or until brown.
  • Immediately cut out the cookies and place on wire racks to cool.

Notes

If you are not using this recipe for 3D cookies, cut out the cookies before you bake it in the oven.
