Ingredients
1cupbuttersoftened
½cupwhite sugar
½cupbrown sugar
2eggs
2teaspoonsvanilla extract
½teaspoonsalt
1teaspoonbaking soda
2teaspoonshot water
3cupsall-purpose flour
2cupschocolate chips
1–1½cups Nutella
Instructions
Prepare the Cookie Dough
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Add the softened butter, white sugar, and brown sugar to a large mixing bowl.
Beat until light and fluffy.
Add the eggs and vanilla extract.
Mix until smooth and well combined.
Prepare the Dry Ingredients
In a separate bowl, combine the salt and all-purpose flour.
In a small bowl, stir the baking soda into the hot water until combined.
Pour the baking soda mixture into the wet ingredients and mix well.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients.
Mix just until a cookie dough forms.
Fold in the chocolate chips.
Stuff the Cookies
Take a portion of cookie dough and flatten it slightly.
Place a small spoonful of Nutella in the center.
Place another small portion of cookie dough on top.
Carefully pinch the edges together until the Nutella is completely enclosed.
Gently shape the dough into a cookie.
Bake
Arrange the stuffed cookies on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
Bake for about 10–12 minutes, or until the edges are set and lightly golden.
Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for several minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
Serve
Serve warm for a soft cookie with an extra-gooey Nutella center.
