Ingredients

Spicy Almond Sauce

  • ½ cup water
  • cup almond butter
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 2 teaspoons brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon ginger grated

Stir-Fry Broccoli and Tofu

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • ½ ounce onions minced
  • 6 ounces tofu diced
  • 4 ounces broccoli florets drained
  • 1 ounce carrots julienned
  • 1 teaspoon oyster sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon chili flakes
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Combine half a cup of water, almond butter, lime juice, brown sugar, paprika, half a teaspoon salt, cayenne pepper, and grated ginger in a small bowl. Set aside.
  • Add oil to a heated skillet.
  • Sauté minced onions on medium-high heat for 1 minute.
  • Add diced tofu and continue sautéing for 3–4 minutes until golden.
  • Add broccoli florets, carrots, oyster sauce, and chili flakes.
  • Cook for another minute.
  • Add in the almond sauce and reduce for 2 minutes.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
