Ingredients

Blondie Base:

  • ½ cup butter melted
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • teaspoons vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup white chocolate chips
  • ½ cup dried cranberries

For the Ganache:

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons half & half or heavy cream

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8x8-inch pan with parchment paper or foil.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter and brown sugar until smooth.
  • Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  • Stir in the salt and flour until just combined.
  • Gently fold in the white chocolate chips, semi-sweet chocolate chips, and cranberries.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 20–25 minutes or until the center is set and the edges are golden.
  • Let the blondies cool.
  • Start making the ganache. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine chocolate chips and half & half.
  • Stir until fully melted and smooth.
  • Pour the ganache over the cooled blondies.
  • Let it set and harden before slicing and serving.
