Ingredients
For Cooking:
3tablespoonsvegetable oil
1cupvegan luncheon meatdiced
½cupsweet onionssliced
2cupssayotechayote, sliced
1teaspoongarlicminced
For Seasoning:
2tablespoonssoy sauce
2tablespoonsmushroom oyster sauce
1½cupswater
¼teaspoonsalt
¼teaspoonground black pepper
Instructions
Fry the Luncheon Meat:
Heat a skillet over medium heat and add 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil.
Fry the diced vegan luncheon meat until crisp on both sides. Remove and set aside.
Cook the Vegetables:
In the same skillet, add the sliced onions and cook until translucent.
Stir in the sliced sayote, minced garlic, soy sauce, and mushroom oyster sauce.
Simmer:
Pour in 1½ cups of water and bring the mixture to a boil.
Add salt and black pepper to taste, stirring well to combine.
Serve:
Transfer the cooked dish to a serving bowl and serve immediately with steamed rice.
