Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter or margarine softened
  • ¾ cup white sugar
  • ¾ cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 ¼ cups self-rising flour
  • 12 ounces white chocolate chips
  • Oreos

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F and grease cookie sheets.
  • In a large bowl, beat together butter, white sugar, brown sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until creamy.
  • Stir in self-rising flour, mixing until a soft dough forms, then fold in white chocolate chips.
  • Scoop 1-inch balls of dough. Flatten one ball slightly, place an Oreo on top, and cover with another dough ball, sealing the edges completely.
  • Arrange on a baking sheet, leaving space between cookies for spreading.
  • Bake for 14-16 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
