Ingredients

  • 1 ripe cantaloupe
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 2 cups cold water (if serving immediately.)

Instructions

  • Wash and cut cantaloupe in half, then remove seeds. 
  • Using a melon scraper, remove the meat into a bowl and set aside.
  • In a pitcher, add water, and sugar and mix until combined. Check if the sweetness is right then feel free to add additional sugar for preferred taste.
  • Next, add cantaloupe meat and mix until well combined. (The color will turn orange.)
  • If you're serving the juice immediately, add ice cubes and serve. However, if you plan to serve it later, it's best to wait and add the ice cubes just before serving.
  • Best served cold.
