Is this similar to the Classic Faire pecan pancake mix no longer sold in stores but online? I like your recipe but did not see the maple glaze recipe. Thank you!
Hi Janet,
It looks like it’s similar, but I’ve never tried the pancake mix. Also, thanks for the heads up! I actually used honey in this recipe so I updated the recipe card above. The maple glaze and other sweetener of your choice can be an alternative to it.
Yes! 5 Big golden stars for this recipe!
Thank you so much! I appreciate it. Please share a photo in IG or FB and tag me when you try this. Enjoy!
The recipe mentions honey doesn’t tell how much and in the instructions doesn’t mention adding honey. Is honey in this recipe?
Hi Jennie,
Thank you for the heads up! Please see the updated recipe card above. You may put a liberal amount of honey to your liking. I’m sorry for the late response. I hope you can try this recipe. Enjoy cooking!

Yes, it is really a great recipe especially for quick and delicious breakfast or snacks. Thank you for dropping by, Luciene. I appreciate it!
I have tried this recipe twice now and found the mixture to be extremely dry. I have even tried it with two different pancake mixes to see if that was the problem and it wasn’t. Both times I have had to add water to even be able to get it all mixed together. The mixture was so thick that it still had dry mix in it. Even after adding water, the pancakes were super dry while eating them and having added butter and syrup on top. If they had not been so dry, the taste would have been better. Is there something missing from the recipe above?
Hello Tammy. I’m sorry for the late response and I’m so sorry the recipe isn’t working for you. The pancake batter will be very dry, almost like cookie dough. Please watch my video on it:
