    Top Tip

Start with high quality apple cider to make sure your popsicles taste really good. I prefer organic and always check the ingredients to make sure they're things I recognize. That usually means it's healthy and organic.

    Variations

    • Spices: Add a dash of ground cinnamon or even nutmeg to the apple cider mixture for a warm, spicy flavor.
    • Caramel Apple: Drizzle caramel sauce into the popsicle molds before pouring in the apple cider mixture for a sweet and indulgent treat.
    • Apples: Add diced apples for more texture
    • Vanilla Extract: To give it more of a vanilla flavor, add a teaspoon vanilla extract.

    Substitutions

    • Sweeteners:
      • If you want the popsicles sweeter, add honey, maple syrup, agave nectar, or stevia for sweetness. Adjust the amount according to your taste preference.
    • Fruit Juice:
      • If you don't have apple cider, you can substitute it with apple juice or a blend of other fruit juices like pear juice, cranberry juice, or orange juice.
    • Liquids:
      • If you prefer a creamier texture, you can substitute some of the liquid with coconut milk, almond milk, apple puree, or yogurt. This will add richness and creaminess to the popsicles.

    Storage

    • Storage: Wrap each popsicle individually in a wax paper or plastic wrap to layer then put them in a plastic freezer bag or airtight container and freeze for up 6 weeks or until it lasts.

    Ingredients

Listed below are all the ingredients you will need:

    • apple cider
    • granola
    • caramel sauce

    Instructions

    FAQs

Can you freeze homemade apple cider?

Yes, you can. Just make sure to allow at least a 2 inch head space since the apple cider expands when freezing which can rupture the container.

Is it ok to refrigerate apple cider vinegar?

Yes, but it is not necessary to refrigerate it. Its acidity and antimicrobial properties can preserve itself from bacteria.

Is it ok to drink the mother in apple cider vinegar?

Yes, it is better to drink it with the mother for its health benefits.
