Substitutions & Variations
- Ingredient Swap
You can use oat milk or almond milk instead of coconut milk for a lighter taste. You can also swap the coconut milk with whole milk or even heavy cream for a richer version. - Variation
For extra flavor, you can stir in a splash of vanilla extract or a spoonful of honey. A small pinch of salt can also enhance the nutty flavor. - Mistake to Avoid
Don’t skip stirring - coconut milk can burn fast if left alone. - Storage Tips
- This pudding doesn’t freeze well; it changes texture. Best to eat within 3–4 days when chilled.
- Store pudding and whipped cream separately in the fridge. Combine just before serving for the best texture.
