Tips and Tricks for Making This Strawberry Cookies Recipe:

    • For uniform-sized cookies, use a cookie scooper or ice cream scooper to form the dough.
    • The cookies will spread out when baking. To avoid the strawberry cookies from sticking to each side after baking, make sure to place them at least 2 inches apart.
    • If you love to have actual strawberries in your cookies, you can mix in some finely diced fresh strawberries. They would taste incredibly delicious with the chocolate chips!

Hey, can I refrigerated the dough first before I bake it? Will it change the texture?

You can refrigerate it! It might come out even better! I notice when I any of the dough in the refrigerator it helps a lot with all of the ingredients coming together. It's also easier when i roll it! (sorry I replied so late to you Bob!) hope that helped though for future reference! 🙂

Hey Deonna! I have made 12 to 15 cookies out of this recipe because I made the cookies individually big. But it can be up to two dozens of delicious strawberry cookies!

I tried to roll the dough and cut out heart shapes with a cookie cutter but it was too sticky even after putting the mixture in the freezer for about 10 minutes.

Hi Billy! Oh, sorry to hear that. Next time, you can try to rub some flour on your hand to avoid them sticking to your hands while shaping them.

And even using a scoop for a consistent shape and size, mine did not come out round and evenly shaped as a cookie like in your picture.

Made these cookies and they were AMAZING!!! Only thing I did was replace the oil with 1 stick of butter. That way they tasted buttery and non cakemixy.
