    Tofu Stir Fry with Snow Peas is an easy tofu and vegetable stir fry recipe made with a healthy mix of extra firm tofu, shiitake mushrooms, snow peas and seasoned with a savory soy sauce mixture.

    It is a versatile dish in which you can add more vegetables and adjust the seasoning to your preferred taste. It’s also a delicious vegan dish that is simple, budget-friendly and tasty!

    This is a great dish for a simple yet delicious vegan meal for any gathering. This easy and savory stir-fry recipe will quickly become a favorite!

    • Feel free to substitute or add other vegetables like green beans, carrots, corn, button mushrooms, broccoli, bell pepper, bean sprouts or sugar snap peas.
    • For a spicy version, add red pepper or chili pepper. For a sweeter version, add pineapple slices.

    How to Make Tofu Stir Fry with Snow Peas:

    Listed below are all the ingredients you will need:

    Sauce

    • soy sauce 
    • rice black vinegar 
    • brown sugar 
    • cornstarch 
    • red pepper flakes 

    Tofu Stir Fry

    • vegetable oil 
    • extra firm tofu 
    • red onions 
    • garlic
    • shiitake mushrooms 
    • snow peas 
    • hoisin sauce 
    • sesame oil 
    • salt and pepper

    In a medium-sized bowl, add soy sauce, rice black vinegar, brown sugar, cornstarch, red pepper flakes, and mix until combined, set aside.

    Heat a large pan on medium heat with oil and fry the tofu until all sides are golden, then remove, transfer to a plate lined with paper towels, and set aside:

    Add the remaining oil into the same pan and sauté sliced red onions and crushed garlic cloves for about 1 minute.  Add slices of mushrooms and continue cooking for 3 minutes on medium-high heat:

    Stir in the snow peas and cook for 2 minutes:

    Add the fried tofu and the soy sauce mixture. Cover and allow it to steam for 2 minutes on medium-low heat:

    Add hoisin sauce and adjust the seasoning. Turn off the heat and add a touch of sesame oil:
