    These pretzel pumpkins are easy to make and great to give as treats for kids!  Using only 4 ingredients, you can make this in under 10 minutes.

    These candy pretzels were very simple to make!  When I shared the pumpkin pretzels with everyone, people were a little hesitant to pick one up, but after they tried it they grabbed a handful of them since they were so delicious! These Pretzel Pumpkins are a fun Halloween treat that is so easy to make and the ingredients are inexpensive and can be bought in many grocery stores! 

    Tips and Tricks for Making This Pretzel Pumpkins Recipe: 

    • Give the pretzel pumpkins time to harden so the M and M’s would really stick to the pretzel.
    • If you love to add edible food glitters to this no-bake pretzel pumpkins, you can. It would give it a chic look yet still delicious!

    How to Make this Pretzel Pumpkins Recipe:

    Gather the ingredients for this Pretzel Pumpkins. Once the ingredients are all ready, let’s begin!

    • bag of pretzels
    • bag of mini M&Ms (green M&Ms only)
    • orange candy melts*
    • shortening

    Pretzels, as it is, are so delicious to eat but wait till you get a taste of this fun, no-bake dessert that we are making!

    Of course, candy melts should be orange so it would resemble the pumpkin color 🙂

    Before melting the orange candy melts, make sure you have prepared a plate lined with parchment paper so you can place the pretzels on the plate after coating them:

    Follow the direction of the orange candy melts.  Add the 2 tablespoon shortening:

    You will know that the candy melts are ready to use as a coating for the pretzels when you get a consistency like this:

    Dip pretzels in the melted orange chocolate:

    Place on wax paper and add the green M&Ms:

    Let the pretzels sit for 15-20 minutes before taking them off the parchment paper so it would harden:

    Q: Can I make this ahead of time?

    A: Yes you can. You can then store them in an airtight container and place in the fridge before your party.

    Q: I don’t have orange candy melts? Can I just use white chocolate and color it?

    A: Yes you can. You can mix red and yellow food color and color as you like so it would resemble the color of a pumpkin.

    Pretzel Pumpkins

    These Pretzel Pumpkins are great as Halloween treats as it is no bake, easy for kids to make and would be perfect as a bonding moment as a family!

    Ingredients

    • bag of pretzels
    • bag of mini M&Ms green M&Ms only
    • 12 oz orange candy melts*
    • 2 tablespoon shortening

    Instructions

    • Follow the direction of the orange candy melts
    • Add the 2 tablespoon shortening
    • Dip pretzels in the chocolate and place on wax paper and add the green M&Ms
    • Let the pretzels sit for 15-20 minutes

    Notes

    *if you don't have orange candy melts use 12 oz white chocolate and use orange food coloring to dye it.
