    This chocolate croissant recipe can be adapted to fit dairy-free diets. Just swap the chocolate chips with dairy-free chocolate. Chocolate batons also work for a traditional pain au chocolat style. Using dark chocolate adds a richer flavor and contains antioxidants that help support heart health.

    • Golden Grahams cereal
    • Chocolate chips
    • Hot fudge sauce
    • Large marshmallows
    • Refrigerated crescent rolls

    Instructions

    1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    2. Unroll the crescent dough and separate into individual triangles.

    3. On the wide end of each triangle, add a spoonful of crushed graham cereal, a few chocolate chips, and one marshmallow.

    4. Roll tightly, tucking in the sides and edges well to prevent any filling from leaking during baking.

    5. Arrange the croissants on the prepared baking sheet.

      Swap chocolate chips with Nutella, peanut butter, almond paste, or caramel.

      Wrap cheese or ham inside for a savory version.

      If you want to use egg wash, you can. Just avoid brushing too much.

      • Room Temp: Wrap leftover dough in plastic wrap. Store in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
