Tips and Tricks for Making This Cream Cheese Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe:
- Before mixing the dry ingredients, make sure you have sifted them carefully, especially the all-purpose flour and the sugars. This will eliminate lumps that do not taste so good 😉
- In making cookies like this, make sure to check the butter you are using. Unsalted butter is always the best choice.
- To make the mixing process of the butter and sugar easier, make sure you have the butter at room temperature for at least 15-20 minutes after taking it out from the chiller – or longer if you have frozen butter.
- Keep these cookies for days by putting them in an airtight container.

How’s much sugar to put in
HI here it is (: Sorry for the late reply!
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
How much sugar?
HI !!! Sorry for the late response here they are
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
Since the instructions say “sugars”, I would assume it should call for both brown and white sugar. Most recipes of this size call for about 1 cup total sugar. I don’t like them too sweet, so I used 1/4 cup white & 1/2 cup brown. Personally, I found the recipe kind of bland. To kick things up a bit, try adding Rice Krispies, oatmeal or nuts.
That’s a delicious addition Craig!
Usually ,reducing sugar can affect the texture of the cookie? Thank you..
